There are many Caravan Parks and Camp sites in the New Forest, with some of the very best located in or around the open spaces of the fantastic New Forest and close to the many attractions and beautiful beaches.

The New Forest National Park in the County of Hampshire on the South Coast of England is a fantastic place to have a holiday or visit for a few days, with places to suit all.

Aldridge Hill Caravan Park and Camp site

Aldridge Hill is located about a mile north-west of Brockenhurst, there are no toilet or shower block facilities, so a chemical toilet is required for staying on the camp site.

Ashurst Caravan Park and Camp site

Facilities: 280 standard pitches, seasonal pitches available, payphone, disabled facilities, toilets and showers, laundrette, recycling bins, unfortunately no dogs are allowed on this camp site.

This is one of the most fully equipped New Forest Caravan Park and Camp sites.

The shops and pubs in Ashurst are conveniently located a few minutes walk from the site entrance, and the New Forest Hotel is near by on the other side of the railway line that runs adjacent to the camp site. The Ashurst Railway Station (previously called Lyndhurst Road)  provides good opportunities for train travel around the area, the line connects to Brockenhurst a few miles to the south west which offers convenient travel around the South Coast to places such as Bournemouth and Poole. 

At Brockenhurst there is also a railway line to Lymington Town which is a few minutes walk from the High Street of Lymington, with its wide range of interesting shops and also Lymington Quay. A couple of minutes away from Lymington Town on the Train is Lymington Pier Station which is adjacent to the Wight Link ferry terminal that provides a frequent ferry service to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.

Denny Wood Caravan Park and Camp site is located on the Beaulieu Road (B3056) just a couple of miles east of Lyndhurst, in the opposite direction approximately a mile away, is Beaulieu Road Railway Station. Across the road from the Station is located the well known Beaulieu Road Pony Sales, where New Forest Commoners Ponies and Donkeys are sold.

Holland’s Wood camp site is set in 22 hectares of beautiful oak woodland, bordered by wonderful heathland.

A ten minute walk away is Brockenhurst village with a fantastic selection of pubs, banks, shops and restaurants. The camp site also has direct access to the forest with numerous walking and cycle paths, and close by is the popular and expansive picnic site of Balmer Lawn next to the Lymington River which is perfect for a picnic.

This is a very popular Camp site so booking is advised particularly at busy times of the year,  there is no electricity on site, facilities include three toilet and shower blocks, disabled facilities, baby wash and change areas, laundry facilities and a dog shower.

Please note the Entrance to the Camp site is on the A337 Lyndhurst road near the turning  for the Balmer Lawn Hotel as you approach the outskirts of Brockenhurst, and that the postcode Sat Nav directions will take you to a different camp site.

Located 3 miles from the village of Bransgore in the New Forest National Park, the New Forest Caravan Club Site was originally part of a Second World War Airfield. Some of the original runway still exists and to the north of the caravan park there is a memorial to the Aircrews who flew from the New Forest Airfields, making this a wonderful destination particularly if you are interested in Aviation history.

Roundhill Caravan Park & Camp site

This camp site has 500 standard pitches spread between pine trees and open grass areas, also there is a large rally field available for organised events.

The Camp site is located on the north western edge of Beaulieu Heath, part of which was once a Second World War Airfield which has been returned to forest heath land.  It is conveniently located midway between Brockenhurst and Beaulieu.

There is access on to the Open Forest and Beaulieu Heath, with some fantastic walking and cycling tracks. there is also a small pond suitable for junior fishing on the site.

Dogs are welcome on this site, and there are lots of forest walks in the area.

Facilities include a toilet and shower blocks as well as washing-up facilities. A dog shower and baby changing facility were added during 2011. There is no electricity on the site, however larger groups can be accommodated on the separate rally field which can cater for up to 60 pitches.
